T-Rex has Excellent rated hips through OFA and is PRA/prcd clear by parentage. T-Rex's Outstanding Sire, Ditto, became a Qualified All Age at 28 months with two first places, coming in second place twice, and placed third twice in Open Stakes. Ditto is darker in color, has excellent conformation, a stable temperament, and is a family pet as well as a winning obedience and field trial competitor, and lived to be nearly 12 years. T-Rex's dam, Ginger, is not only beautiful but also very intelligent. She earned her MH title the summer of 2007, passing seven tests at just two years old. She qualified in 2008 for the Master National Test. Both T-Rex's sire and dam rate "Good" in hips, and T-Rex is rated Excellent. T-Rex is an "old soul." Easy-going, wonderful with other dogs, and great around small children. He seems wise beyond his years. He loves to please and also enjoys retrieving. With all health clearances in place, T-Rex is now available at stud.

Although our focus this past year has been on Pez's training, T-Rex performs at about the AKC SH hunt test level. He has turned out to be a super pheasant hunter with his excellent nose, and at just two years is even trustworthy having free reign in the house.

Pez was bred as the culmination of 40 years of Jackie Mertens' Topbrass breeding program in hopes of producing that elusive "competitive field trial golden." Like T-Rex, Pez also has Excellent rated hips. Pez has been cleared by a cardiologist (awaiting the addition of this certification to OFA's database). She has tested as carrier status for eyes PRA/prcd through Optigen, and so she can breed to a clear stud. Pez was retrieving full sized duck dokkens for us as soon as we brought her home at about 8 weeks of age. Paws, her dam, a fully trained field trial bitch and Amateur Field Champion, is rated OFA excellent for hips. Bro, her sire, is a hard charging field trial golden, having earned a spot on the National Derby list with 19 points to his credit. He earned his Field Championship and has an Amateur Win. Pez is a linebreeding on National Amateur Field Champion/Field Champion Topbrass Cotton, an Outstanding Sire and in the Field Dog Hall of Fame. Pez represents everything a golden should be - intelligent, driven, even- tempered, healthy, and loving with children. Pez ran her first senior hunt test at 18 months, and titled as SH in less than 7 weeks (5/7). Pez was ready to run her first Master hunt test August 2009 at 20 months but her heat cycle kept her. We then took a break from hunt tests with the hunting season upon us, and enjoyed hunting ducks and pheasant with her in the fall of 2009. She resumed training in the winter of 2010 in Texas and finally had opportunity to run her first Master hunt test in February 2010-- achieving her first pass on her first try. Pez reached her Master Hunter title at just 2.5 years of age, respectfully ran her first field trial, and qualified for the Master National in 2010.

Floden's Topbrass Pawziah passed away with her unborn pups February, 2011 in an unfortunate accident.

Dotty is the combination of Weinkenlin conformation and field line pedigrees. Both her dam Zowie, and sire Dealer are rated Good hips and are in the CHIC dog health database. Her sire, Creditriver's Wild Card "Dealer" is a Master Hunter, Qualified All Age, passed two Master Nationals, and an SRS winner.
